10 Days Tanzania Migration Safari
Itinerary:
Tanzania is arguably the best safari destination in Africa combining park with the densest game population and truly wild landscape with masses of animals roam free.
Serengeti has to be the highlight of the trip and awe even the most jaded safari travelers. On the endless and at times treeless plain, are literally thousands of hoofed animals attended by the super predators, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and wild dogs. And with careful planning, we will recommend the camp/lodge that let you enjoy the annual migration of the wildebeest, the greatest wildlife experience on earth!
Apart from Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, a collapsed volcanic caldera with the densest game population in Africa on its crater floor is another unforgettable sight. And we will also visit Lake Manyara, situated in the African Rift valley with abundant birdlife and the famous Tree climbing lion.
If you have more time, the beautiful and exotic island of Zanzibar awaits! Here not only do you enjoy luxuriously fine beaches & coral reef, but also indulge in the unique heritage of Alfro-Arab in the exotic Stone Town.

The town and later the modern city of Nairobi grew up around The Norfolk, which still has its own private tropical gardens. The hotel is still the traditional starting point for safaris and the Lord Delamere Terrace is modern Nairobi's most famous meeting place, where drinks and light meals are served continuously from morning until midnight. Gibbs Farm
Gibb's Farm is a working Farm located on the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It comprises a warm and friendly community where the rhythm of Farm Life has calmed and restored the weary safari journeyer for over 40 years.
Set among formal English gardens, the Farmhouse and 20 ensuite cottages are the heart of a working farm. Built in 1929, the Farmhouse has hardly changed, retaining the charm of a well looked-after private house. Cozy living rooms and reading corners are just steps away from the dining room, bar and gift shop. www.gibbsfarm.net
Ngorongoro Crater Lodge
Perched on the edge of the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge lies within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8 000 square kilometres (3 100 square miles) of pristine African wilderness. Inspired in design by the Maasai mud-and-stick manyatta (homestead), Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is without doubt one of the most architecturally spectacular safari lodges in Africa. http://ngorongorocrater.com/
DAY 03 NGORONGORO CRATER
You have the full day safari in the crater with picnic lunch.
The crater is a truly remarkable area encompassing a self-contained eco-system, which sustained the greatest concentration of the wildlife on earth. In addition to the big mammals – elephants, lions, cheetahs giraffes etc, there are also birds in abundance – vultures, pink-neck marabou storks and thousands of greater and lesser flamingoes. Moreover, the setting of the dramatic crater walls is by itself a nature spectacle.
(Breakfast, lunch, dinner included)
