Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Hong Kong / Tangier / Chefchaouen
    Fly Hong Kong / Doha QR 815 0001/0440 – Daily (9h 39m)
      Doha / Casablanca QR 1395 0720/1240 – Daily (8h 20m)
      Casablanca/Tangier AT 990 1515/1620 – Thu,Sun (1h 5m)

    Upon arrival, make your way to the romantic blue city of Chefchaouen. En route, visit the white city of Tetouan, whose compact medina is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Day 02 - Chefchaouen

    This morning, head towards the Roman ruins of Volubilis, high on a plateau overlooking the Holy City of Moulay Idriss nestled in a lush valley below. The Atlas Mountains in the background add to the beauty of the setting. The 2nd and 3rd century Roman town of Volubilis is noted for its colourful and interesting mosaics depicting daily life, the capitol and triumphal arch. A short drive takes you to Meknes, another imperial city with over fifty palaces.

    Visit the most impressive gates of the palaces, Bab Mansour with its vivid green tiles and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Bou Inania Medersa. Then, continue to Fes.

  • Day 03 - Chefchaouen / Volubilis / Meknes / Fes

    Depart to the imperial city of Fes. En route, visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then drive to the town of Moulay Idriss and enjoy a stroll through the town. Stop at Meknes, another imperial city with over fifty palaces. En route we visit the walled city of Sale. Enjoy  walking tour of the Medina,  visiting the most impressive gates, Bab Mansou; the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and Dar Jamai Museum

  • Day 04 - Fez

    Enjoy a full day guided tour of Fes. Visit the large Kairaouine mosque; the 14th century Medersa Bou Inania noted for its Koranic scripture in stucco; Dar Batha Museum, an excellent collection of traditional Moroccan Arts & Crafts; Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts & Crafts and of course not missing the sight and “smell” of the Tanneries. End the day with a panoramic view of the Medina from an ancient hill-top guard post of Borj Nord.

  • Day 05 - Fez / Merzouga - Erg Chebbi

    This morning, set off for Merzouga. Pass through Ifrane, a charming European-looking ski resort and Azrou, a typical Berber town with flat-roofed earthen houses. Stop for lunch at the nature reserve of Midelt.

    Upon your arrival to your luxury Desert camp at the big dunes of the Erg Chebbi Desert, experience a camel ride at sunset (or sunrise the next day) from the top of the dunes.

    Note:  A long and scenic drive today of at least 8 hours.

  • Day 06 - Erg Chebbi / Ouarzazate Or Skoura

    Today drive through the ancient fortified desert town of Rissani and continue to the barely visible ruins of Sijilmasa, which flourished in the 8th century. Continue though lunar-like landscape to Tineghir.

    Reach Todra Gorge and enjoy lunch of tagine while admiring canyon walls rising 750m. Continue to Dades Gorge and make a stop at one of the Kasbah dotted along the way. Continue towards Ouarzazate along the southern flank of the High Atlas Mountains. Stop at the oasis Kelaa Mgouna, famous for its Persian roses and rose water perfume essences. 

    Note:  A long and scenic drive today of at least 8 hours.

  • Day 07 - Ouarzazate Or Skoura

    Today, visit two magnificent Kasbahs, Tifoultoute and Taourirt. Continue to Ait Benhaddou, the backdrop for famous films such as “Gladiator” and visit the Atlas Film Studio (subject to availability, if not rented out for filming)

  • Day 08 - Ouarzazate Or Skoura / Marrakech

    Drive to Marrakech with scenic route and upon arrival visit a beautiful garden, “Majorelle Garden”, filled with rare plants, bright colors and peace.

  • Day 09 - Marrakech

    This morning visit the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque. Continue on to the Bahya Palace and the Palace of Dar Si Aid. We will also visit the peaceful and meditative Ali Ben Youssef Medersa, Koubba Baadiyn and Museum Marrakech. 

    Afternoon, visit the labyrinth streets of the souqs with their Quarters of dyers, carpenters and jewelers. End your tour at Jemaâ el Fna square, a big popular fairground.

  • Day 10 - Marrakech / Atlas Mountain / Marrakech

    Optional: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon ride over Marrakech 

    Drive to Tin Mal Mosque, a beautiful isolated monument, before reaching Imlil. Walk through the village of Mzik, from where the views of Imlil and the terraces are beautiful. Take the winding road up the valley opposite the Kasbah through Tansghart. Enjoy tea in a traditional Berber house in a village, before returning back by road with fantastic views.

  • Day 11 - Marrackech / Hong Kong

    Transfer for your flight.
